Projects and Readings. Second Grade (SEP).

Gramática: usos de will

Predecir un estado con to be + adjetivoThe hurricane will be very strong.
Qué tan probable es algo, con adverbios (often, sometimes, never)Floods will often occur in this region during spring.
Cuándo ocurrirá, con expresiones de tiempoThere will be a heatwave in July.

La estructura es siempre will + verbo en forma base (no cambia según el sujeto): it will rain, they will protect, I will help. En negativo se usa won’t (will not): it won’t rain.

  • Droughts will happen more often due to climate change.
  • The scientists predict that the volcano will erupt soon.
  • Planting trees will help prevent soil erosion during heavy rains.

Comprueba lo aprendido

En negativo se usa won’t (contracción de will not): it won’t rain.
